Meditation

To meditate is to be and a way to enter the flow of all that is. Slip into this stillness with an open heart and mind and feel the honesty of your being. Wonderment, challenges, joy and sorrow make up this wonderful, thought provoking, creative, beautiful world. Meditating is a space of allowing and awareness where you embrace all experiences, what you allow or resist will transcend and transform – moving you to oneness within.

Allow the thought "I am loved" to permeate all parts of you, heart, body and mind - feel it filling you up and surrounding you with waves of love and joy. From the depths of you … love and compassion flow to honour the profound relationship you have with all. Mother Earth thanks you for receiving and giving of love – reminding you, as you nourish, love and heal yourself … you nourish, love and heal, all things on and within Mother Earth and Father Sky. Imagine yourself effortlessly flowing through your day.

Thoughts

Have you ever sat very quietly with closed eyes and watched the movement of your own thinking? Have you watched your mind working?or rather, has your mind watched itself in operation, just to see what your thoughts are, what your feelings are, how you look at the trees, at the flowers, at the birds, at people, how you respond to a suggestion or react to a new idea? Have you ever done this? ~ Krishnamurti

That which you resist stays. ~ David Hawkins

Meditation Class

The theme for Meditation classes this week is Balance. In your mind’s eye, imagine a Yin & Yang symbol representing two opposing but complimentary forces, something that’s found throughout all of nature. Yin is often symbolized as water or earth, and is considered the receptive, feminine force. Yang is symbolized by fire or wind, and is the creative, masculine force. While opposites, they are not absolutes – nothing can exist without each, and neither is superior to the other. Allow this image to move you to your centre, where you feel at one and peace with your whole being.
