La Dolce Vita

Hearing of Anita Ekberg's passing, I was reminded of images that still burn bright in me today. When I first saw La Dolce Vita in the late seventies, it brought an excitement of possibilities and a sense of relief to my mundane, teenage suburban existence. I longed for a feeling of freedom where dreams could be realised.

 

The Trevi Fountain scene is still as powerful to me today - I see a woman allowing her inner goddess to experience life in ways that seem to move beyond every boundary I was taught not to cross. It brought hope that there were people in the world that viewed life from a different perspective without judgment. Something new stirred within me, and I began a search for a way to create a different life.

 

 

I am so grateful for the collaboration of all from this movie that introduced me to Federico Fellini's work that brought his dreams to life  - some I liked, some I didn't. However his work taught me not to judge, but just to let things be. I took what inspired me and left the rest there, this was his creation and has as much right to be in the world as everyone else's creation upon the Earth. It is not my place to judge I take what inspires me and create the life that I so desire. To this day I admire all those who create from the edge, expanding our hearts and minds.

The Doorway

Before you stands an open doorway. Close your eyes. Bring your hands together in a prayer position over your heart and feel the colour green within your heart. Breath in green. Breathe out green.  A New Direction - I am willing to change in 2015. Sometimes, we get in our own way and believe the culmination of all others ideas and beliefs that we have taken during our life in order to be loved and accepted. These become obstacles, we feel we are not good enough, which starts the justification and analysing process each time you want to take a new direction in this life. So, when we move out of our own way letting go of anything that limits us, we will be lifted to our higher self that will show you a higher perspective full of ideas and beliefs that resonate with you, where all becomes clear. Trust how you feel – for you know yourself the best.

Go easy today - Close your eyes, breathe in ease and breathe out obstacles. With each breath, you are deliberately shifting your awareness from the outside world to your inner world. Feel how you feel and take steps to feel your inner being.... This is your sacred place, and it is always peaceful, loving and wise. Full Moon in Cancer

FULL MOON IN CANCER - January 5th AUST EDT 3.53pm, GMT 4.53am. January 4th PST  8:53pm ♥ A full moon brings about completion and celebration, lighting our inner world and illuminating our deepest desires.

 

Because of certain planetary positions, this full moon will be a little intense, referred to as a wobble Moon. It is similar energy to what occurs at eclipses. This wobble in time and space will intensify anything that knocks you from your centre, your alignment with your inner self, in other words feeling the love that you are. This is great because once you know what moves you away from caring about the you, you can make different choices about nurturing yourself. Find loving alignment with you in every moment and watch your whole life flow in loving alignment.

 

 

Allow this Cancer moon energy to connect you to the waters of life, the water of the Great Goddess. Your seeds are illuminated, time to plant them and move on, no more procrastinating. Full moon in Aries and full lunar eclipse

FULL MOON IN ARIES - 8th October AEDT 9.51pm, GMT 10.51am, PDT 3.51am. Eclipse begins about 5 minutes after these times.

 A full moon shines light on our inner world, illuminating our deepest desires and celebrating the completion of the lunar month. A Lunar eclipse alters your perceptions and allows you to see things in a new light. These new personal insights or "Aha" moments occur because the way you 'reflect' is altered.

 A total Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon are opposite with the Earth in between. During this type of eclipse, the Moon will gradually get darker and then take on a rusty or blood red colour. The eclipse will be visible throughout NZ, the Pacific, Australia, most of North America, South America and eastern Asia.

Take a deep breath and step into the life you really, really want – do what makes you feel alive. This moon gives you the opportunity to strip back all the illusions, the self-doubt and fear, when these melt away you are left with your creative essence - no obstacles or boundaries. This moon may give you a little energetic push forward to “just do it”, take that leap of faith and fly.

If you are unsure of your direction - Take a deep breath, still yourself for a moment and allow your focus to flow to your heart. Wake up and rub the illusions from your eyes. Open to new possibilities, know you create everything in your life by the energy you emit. Your job is to choose thoughts and feelings that centre yourself in your heart in every moment of your life. Hear your inner wisdom, be esteemed by your words and focus your vision on what you want instead of what you don't want. There is now no reason to be pushed and shoved around by your or other's manifestations. Go within, go to your sacred space and surrender to your great awakening. The mist of illusion will part from your eyes and you will marvel at the wondrous creative journey of Love that you came here to experience. Be who you are for you are a light worker, weaver and creator. You are wonderment.

Today and every day celebrate your uniqueness and beauty and encourage others to do the same. Create a vision, a life that you want to live based on the clarity that has come from all your experiences. There are no obstacles, there is nothing to fix or change, just more to create. Do something today that is aligned with your dreams. If you can't think of anything - gently close your eyes and picture yourself living your dream, now imagine how you will feel.
